Today, I published my 500th podcast.
It’s like a ‘round-number’ birthday, a big thing and a little thing at the same time.
Big, because it represents a powerful, consistent commitment that I sometimes honestly struggle to understand.
Little, because any number is, after all, just another number.
What I can say for sure is that the podcast is not what I thought it would be.
With an average length of around 6 minutes, I’ve published around 50 hours of material.
When I began, I was following the siren calls of content marketing gurus who promised an ‘easy life’ if only I could create regular content for a year.
They were wrong, of course, but as it transpired I found something much more valuable.
And the journey is just beginning.
