Simplicity Sells

Here’s one of the things you learn running a web agency for 20 years.

Confused people rarely say “yes”.

A lot of what we did, as developers, was really information design and choice architecture.

Making complex businesses look simple.

This has been on my mind this week, because I’m on the verge of putting my new website live.

It has 7 pages.

It’s taken a while to do, but I’m reminded of that great quote. “Sorry for the long letter. I didn’t have time to write a short one.”

Lots of wisdom in that.

In today’s podcast, I’m talking about simplicity, and the three levels I use to structure what I ‘sell’.

This rough and ready podcast is free and happily given, but if you want to buy me a coffee from time to time… have at it.
